*Croc-a-tail Scarf Pattern (sock weight) -- digital download
DIGITAL DOWNLOAD -- PATTERN ONLY
In my other life, I was a stage manager for dance, circus, events and TV. This job was interesting and took me all over the world. I lived in Singapore for about three years while working for a circus show. Because Singapore has a very tropical climate, the indoor public spaces are always air-conditioned to the max. I designed this little scarf or shawlette to fit into my purse and be ready to whip out and cover my chilly neck on the bus or in the office or grocery store.
The construction of this scarf is quite simple. You start at the bottom point and increase as you go. A set of jagged spines are worked along one side of the triangle and are created by binding off a few stitches each repeat. The final spines are worked in short rows across the top of the scarf. Each size uses about 400 yards or 100 grams and is easily adaptable to your yarn.
